Our services are available throughout Ireland in-person (depending on COVID-19 restrictions) or online via Zoom. We provide international training and consultancy remotely.
How long is the certified suicide intervention training?
Our QPR certified suicide intervention training takes 5 hours to complete. This can be done in one day or split over two days, whatever suits your organizations work-flow best.
What’s covered in the suicide intervention training?
Our training begins with a basic overview and conversation around suicide. Our facilitators work to give an understanding of suicide as a personal, cultural and societal issue. Exploring any myths and giving suicide facts follows. Then, we delve into how to have a conversation about suicide with someone who might be struggling, how to support a person in living and how to refer to competent care providers.
How is consultancy offered?
We offer consultancy in a range of different areas. We offer day long consults on site or remotely. These can be extended based on your needs.
